Les Bell and Associates is a leading provider of training courses on internet, web development and personal computer technology.
Since 1981, our courses have led the field with intensive and practical information, presented in a colourful and memorable fashion. Our original courses were based upon tutorial series of articles published in Your Computer magazine - dBASE programming and C programming are memorable examples - but since the mid-eighties we have developed courses from scratch on a variety of topics, particularly PC operating systems, C/C++ and Java programming, TCP/IP networking and security.
Our latest courses bring the same in-depth knowledge and experience to the increasingly-popular Linux operating system - we've used it here since 1995 - as well as network security. Our latest course, LX106: Hacking and Securing Linux, combines both.
Our courses are offered to the public through other training companies, as well as run directly for clients, including banks, government departments and major corporations in the UK, Europe, S.E. Asia and Australia. We are now marketing our courses directly: you can get full course details and the course schedule from the links at left.
Some of our course materials are available on this site - usually the latest versions are not made available until the course has run, but older versions, white papers, editorials and other information is available through the links at left.
I look forward to seeing you at one of our courses!
